Detailed Itinerary
5 Days / 4 Nights
Day 1
Dehradun to Sankri Base Village (200 km / 7-8 hrs)
Scenic drive through Mussoorie, Purola, and Govind National Park along Tons River. Check-in to guesthouse in Sankri (1,950m). Evening trek briefing and dinner.
Day 2
Trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (2,770m / 4 km / 4 hrs)
Trek through magical dense pine and maple forests carpeted in snow. Reach fairy-tale frozen lake Juda Ka Talab. Overnight alpine camping under starry sky.
Day 3
Trek from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,400m / 3-4 hrs)
Ascend above treeline into open snowy meadows. Reach Kedarkantha Base Camp. Panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, and Swargarohini peaks. Early dinner and rest.
Day 4
Summit Push to Kedarkantha Peak (3,800m) & Descent to Hargaon (6-7 hrs)
03:30 AM alpine start for summit push. Reach Kedarkantha Summit for an unforgettable 360-degree Himalayan sunrise. Descend down to Hargaon campsite (2,650m).
Day 5
Hargaon to Sankri Base Village & Drive to Dehradun (200 km)
Gentle morning descent through pine forests back to Sankri. Board private vehicle and drive back to Dehradun railway station / airport with achievement certificate.
