Detailed Itinerary
3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1
Rishikesh to Chopta via Devprayag & Ukhimath (200 km / 7 hrs)
Scenic drive along Mandakini River. Arrive in serene meadows of Chopta. Check-in to alpine camp, evening acclimatization walk and stargazing.
Day 2
Chopta to Tungnath Temple (3,680m) & Chandrashila Summit (4,000m)
Morning 4.5 km trek to ancient Tungnath Mahadev. Onward 1 km ridge climb to Chandrashila Summit for 360-degree panoramic views of Greater Himalayas (Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar Dome). Descend back to Chopta camp.
Day 3
Chopta to Deoria Tal Lake & Return Drive to Rishikesh (200 km)
Morning short excursion to sacred Deoria Tal (crystal lake reflecting Chaukhamba peak). Breakfast, board vehicle for return journey to Rishikesh / Haridwar.
